Episode 41 - The losses and lessons of kidney transplantation with Angela Peake

In this episode I chat with Angela Peake about the losses and wins of receiving a donated kidney twice and spending many years on dialysis in between.  We talk about the impact that had on her life, as a parent, a nurse, a wife.   Angela also covers the impact of receiving a transplant from someone who lost their life, the gratitude for their family agreeing to it in the midst of their grief.   Formerly an oncology nurse for many years Angela now uses her own personal experience of being a patient and a nurse to help others in her profession to support colleagues with a disability.    Angela also coaches others through her 12 session bespoke programme called Replenished.  To contact Angela email at Angela.peake010@gmail.com
